All of my amazing finds! Rifle Paper Co. in Winter Park, FL

Okay. Call me super oblivious, but I had no idea that Rifle Paper Co. was located in Winter Park! Imagine my thrill to find out that they're located close to one of my favorite places, Park Avenue. Last weekend, they had one of their many sample sales (apparently I've been missing out as this is something they do every so often - what?!). I went with my sister and our friend to pick up some wedding related and non-wedding related paper goods. It was entirely too difficult not to buy everything. That is not an exaggeration. I had serious control issues and just kept picking up things. It was really all a blur and suddenly I was checked out with a heavy bag of things I am convinced I need.

To be fair, I left with all of my Thank You Cards (75 of them!), Bridesmaids Cards, a Garance Dore To-Do List and Notebook, a print of London (where we're honeymooning!) and Valentine's Day Cards for next year, all for about $100. I mean. What else was I supposed to do?

Knowing that Rifle Paper Co. is so close to home is seriously dangerous. I love stationary and can never have enough notebooks. I know this isn't the last time I'll see this place...

You can find Rifle Paper Co. at 558 W NEW ENGLAND AVE NO. 150
WINTER PARK, FL 32789 USA.

It's here! About a week ago, I decided to put our outdoor engagement photos into a book and use that as a guestbook at our wedding. Admittedly, it's not the most creative guestbook I can think of. I've had friends that had people sign a picture frame or had them write wedding advice or well wishes on cards. I liked this idea because not only would it be an album for us, it would be such a wonderful thing to look back on it and see the kind words everyone that was at our wedding wrote.

I decided to use Shutterfly because, frankly, I scored a coupon on Facebook for a free photo book. I am never one to turn down free things, so I immediately signed up and got to assembling a photo book for us. It was a lot harder and more time consuming than I thought, but I'm super pleased with the results. I chose to upgrade to lay-flat pages, hard cover with a matte finish and about 50 pages, which ended up costing more than the deal but overall, I saved about 50%.

And the best part is I love it! Dustin from Sunglow Photography did such an amazing job. Seeing the photos printed this way is such a wonderful feeling! I also added a few of our favorite love quotes to some of the pages. I can't wait to do the same with our wedding photos.

When I imagine our future home, it's filled with vintage furniture and found trinkets - almost like a hoarder's house but way more chic. I had been wanting to check out Adjectives Market in Altamonte Springs for weeks now. Perusing their photos on Facebook is a guilty pleasure. I just love everything.

Tyler and I got a chance to do some shopping last weekend and Adjectives Market was at the top of our list. The two story warehouse of refurbished vintage furniture and decor was my equivalent of an adult Disney World. They had everything from dresser drawers to bed frames, even old suitcases and clothing. I could've walked away with it all but for now I bought some jewelry and Tyler purchased an old and tattered American Flag.

You can find Adjectives Market at 1215 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, Florida

I love 4th of July in the same way most people love Christmas, which incidentally I hate but that's neither here nor there. I just love summer and everything that comes along with it. 4th of July strikes me as the culmination of all of my favorite things - sunshine, picnics, barbecue, fried foods, short shorts, America, and of course FIREWORKS. How could I not love it?

This year Tyler and I went to Newton Park in Downtown Winter Garden, where they had the type of festivities you imagine a small town having. Fireworks uncoordinated with the music that was not loud enough, little kids singing American folk songs out of tune and forgetting the words, a rock'n'roll classic cover band - quintessential Summer small town perfection and I loved every minute of it. I can't explain it, things like that make me so happy. It's just a bunch of people getting together being patriotic and not trying to be much else - no pomp and circumstance, just small town people hanging out and watching fireworks.

Simple.

Life should always be simple.

Next year, maybe we'll take a trip somewhere and try 4th of July that way. There's little to nothing that could ruin that day for me. It's my favorite day of the year. No matter what we do, I'll be the happiest clam in the sea.
